Tony  Biddle



Tony Biddle is a Director of CBRE Hotels’ Consulting practice. He has been based in the firm’s Philadelphia office since 2007. He has conducted market and economic feasibility studies, strategic positioning studies and participated in appraisals for hotels and resorts throughout the Middle Atlantic region. Biddle is the Pittsburgh metro area’s local market expert for CBRE Hotels’ Americas Research Hotel Horizons forecasting service. He has also traveled beyond the region to conduct conference center hotel market studies for universities. In addition to this private sector work, he has traveled throughout the U.S. and abroad to Germany, England, Spain, Japan and Guam on consulting assignments for the U.S. Army, Navy and Air Force.

A graduate of the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration, Biddle has served on the Philadelphia board of directors of the Cornell Hotel Society of Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.

Mr. Biddle’s research on the impact of the shale natural gas drilling industry on the hotel sector has been published in Lodging Magazine. Biddle is also commonly quoted in industry publications’ and general press coverage of the Pittsburgh metro area hotel market.​
