Under Mr. Knott's leadership, the transaction volume for CBRE Las Vegas grew to $2.5 billion from $775 million.  Mr. Knott's brokerage activities in Las Vegas include such high profile assignments/transactions as:

 
  • On behalf of Tamares, the disposition of Gold Spike Hotel & Casino to Greg Covin, Trustee for $15.6 million.

  • On behalf of NGP Realty Sub, L. P., the disposition of the Las Vegas National Golf Course to MRE LV Golf LLC

  • On behalf of Northern Trust and Gordon Gaming, the sale of the Sahara Hotel & Casino to SBE/Stockbridge for $345 million.

  • On behalf of Northern Trust and Gordon Gaming, the disposition of +25.84 acres on the SWC Las Vegas Blvd and Sahara to MGM Mirage for $444 million.

  • On behalf of the Yarrow Trust the sale of 8.81 acres of lease encumbered land to Harrah’s for $85 million.

  • Represented Harrah’s Entertainment in the purchase of 15.22 acres on Las Vegas Boulevard (former Westward Ho site) for $280 million.

  • On behalf of the Singapore Government established the land value for the Marina Bay Front and Sentosa Island Integrated Resort Development Sites.  The established value was included in the RFP process.

  • On behalf of Caesars Entertainment, the sale of the Las Vegas Hilton to Colony/Resorts International for $292 million.

  • On behalf of Harrah’s Entertainment, the sale of Binion’s Horseshoe for $20 million.

  • On behalf of Caesars Entertainment, the sale of its 50% interest in 3960 Howard Hughes Parkway to Crescent based on building value of $18.3 million.

  • On behalf of Caesars Entertainment, the purchase of 7 acres at Flamingo and Koval from the Lee family for $35 million.

  • On behalf of Caesars Entertainment/Harrah’s the sale of the Flamingo Laughlin to American Real Este Partners for $109 million.

  • On behalf of Caesars Entertainment/Harrah’s the sale of the Reno Hilton to Grand Sierra Resorts for $150 million.

  • On behalf of Caesars Entertainment the sale of the Caesars Tahoe to Columbia Sussex for $45 million.

  • Represented Edge Resorts in the purchase of 18 acres at Harmon & Koval for $92 million.

  • Represented Harrah’s Entertainment in the $164.5 million purchase of the 19.5 acre Desert Club Apartment property on Koval Lane.

  • Represented Battista’s in the $31 million sale of the 1.2 acre property on Flamingo Road.  The sale included the restaurant business.

  • On behalf of Pinnacle Entertainment the $17.5 million sale of the Crystal Park in Compton, CA

  • On behalf of Boyd Gaming, the sale of two excess land parcels for $25 million to two different buyers.

     
  • Represented Harrah’s in the $200 million purchase of the 11.5 acre Tam property at Harmon and Koval.

  • The sale on behalf of ITT Corp. of 15 acres in the resort corridor to Miami-based Turnberry Pavilion Partners, LP, for more than $20 million.

  • The sale on behalf of John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance of Delta Point Medical Building, a 77,686 sq. ft. medical office building for $7.5 million.

  • The 8.5-year sublease of 15,498 square feet for Caesar's World at Wells Fargo Center valued at $4.3 million.

  • The sale on behalf of Gordon Gaming Corp. of 10 acres in the resort corridor to Silver Star Development LLC, for $9.5 million.

  • Represented Teradata Corporation in the largest lease in Los Angeles history.

  • The sale on behalf of Meridian of Paradise Marketplace and Tropicana Marketplace to Weingarten Realty Investors for $20.6 million.

  • The sale on behalf of Balcor or Renaissance East to New Plan for $12.6 million.

  • The sale of the Big O Tires building, a 300,000 SF industrial facility to Continental PET for $10.25 million.

  • The sale of Palms Airport Center for AEW to Harsch Investments for $26 million.
