CBRE Hotels Arranges the Sale of The Hotel California in San Francisco

San Francisco, California – April 24, 2014 – CBRE Hotels is pleased to announce the sale of The Hotel California located at 580 Geary Street in downtown San Francisco. The property was sold to Pineapple Hospitality Company in a transaction that closed earlier this month.

The seven-story, 83-key property was built in 1913 and houses the award-winning Millennium Restaurant.  Located on the corner of Geary and Jones streets, the hotel is in the heart of the San Francisco theater district and three blocks from Union Square. The Hotel California name will remain in place and a significant renovation and redesign is being planned for next year.
