CBRE Hotels Recognized as Hotelier’s Supplier of the Year

Bill Stone accepted the award at the 25th Annual Pinnacle Awards

TORONTO, December 9, 2013 – Canada’s foodservice and hospitality industry gathered at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto last week for the 25th Annual Pinnacle Awards. Hotelier magazine and Foodservice and Hospitality magazine join forces each year and present awards to the top restaurateurs, operators, suppliers and hotel companies in Canada. Eleven awards were distributed, including the Hotelier Supplier of the Year award which was given to CBRE Hotels.

CBRE Hotels is led by Bill Stone, Executive Vice President, in Canada. Bill has over 25 years of experience as a hospitality real estate professional and he has assembled a team of seasoned lodging real estate service providers. The group was recognized for their best-in-class business practices, their standing as an industry resource for market intelligence, and their ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility.

Mark Sparrow, Director of Western Canada, opened CBRE’s dedicated Western Canadian hotel operation in Vancouver in January 2012, while Luke Scheer, Director of Eastern Canada, is the newest member of the team and brings a wealth of hotel operational and development expertise to sales efforts throughout Eastern Canada. Further rounding out the practice is Brian Flood, Vice President, CBRE Hotels’ Valuation and Advisory Services practice for the past eight years and Greg Kwong, Executive Vice President and Regional Managing Director, CBRE Limited Alberta, who provides additional leadership support in Canada. Both teams are supported by Client Services Coordinator, Karina Toome, and Senior Real Estate Analyst, Kimberly Dickey.
